Whether you have questions about coursework, extracurricular activities, or career opportunities, our ambassadors are ready to help!

Course: Software Engineering BSc 
About Me: I'm a dedicated and innovative web developer with a passion for building efficient, user-friendly web applications. Currently, I'm working on BidBrick, an auction-based house-selling platform. I enjoy solving complex problems with structured, efficient approaches and continuously learning new technologies to refine my skills.
What I enjoy most about being a CMS student: The ability to solve real-world problems through code. The field constantly challenges me to think logically, break down complex issues, and develop efficient solutions. Plus, collaborating with peers and learning from different perspectives makes the journey even more exciting!

About Me: I am a second year student with a passion for analytical and problem-solving skills. I am looking forward to using these skills in the real world involving Machine Learning and Data, and potentially in the world of finance.
What I enjoy most about being a CMS student: I enjoy engaging with prospective students and families whilst promoting Mathematics as an Ambassador. Sharing my experiences about the University and my degree fills me with great pride.

About Me: I’ve always had a passion for maths, and I love how it allows me to solve real-world problems with precision and creativity.
What I enjoy most about being a CMS student: I love being a CMS Ambassador, getting to meet new people and share my excitement for maths! It's amazing to help others discover the incredible opportunities within CMS, whether it's chatting about our awesome degrees or just offering advice on student life. Plus, it’s always great to be part of a team that’s passionate about making everyone feel welcome and supported!

Course: Mathematics BSc
About Me: I am a first-year student studying Mathematics. My hobbies include art and design, cooking and eating a variety of food and going on frequent walks.
What I enjoy most about being a CMS student: As a CMS student, I am privileged that I get to access a wide range of opportunities offered by the Uni such as volunteering, summer internships and lots more. These have provided me with a network of people inside the Uni as well as in the work industry, which is great for experience and skills development. I am constantly learning ways in which maths can be applied in industries such as finance and technology, and extending my knowledge through the curriculum taught here.

About Me: I am in my first year of a BSc in Mathematics. Leicester is my home city and in my spare time I follow both Leicester City Football Club and Leicester Tigers Rugby Football Club.
What I enjoy most about being a CMS student: I enjoy learning about theories and their applications to real-world scenarios. Also, being a CMS student lets you be a part of a welcoming and diverse community where everyone has a common interest.

Course: Mathematics BSc
About Me: I was born in Leicestershire and still live here today, so the University of Leicester was an obvious choice for me. I am a member of a local tennis club and I also enjoy playing badminton at the University.
What I enjoy most about being a CMS student: I am really enjoying studying different areas of maths which I would not have previously seen in sixth form, and my favourite area of maths is linear algebra.
