Leicester Law School maintains strong partnerships with top law firms locally, nationally, and internationally. Throughout the year, students have access to a diverse programme of careers events and networking opportunities.

The annual Law Fair is a major highlight, welcoming around 40 firms — including all five Magic Circle firms — to campus to recruit Leicester students.

Weekly career events during term time offer opportunities to:

  • Gain insights from practising lawyers across different legal sectors.
  • Develop professional skills through workshops led by careers advisors.

Through the School’s Legal Advice Clinic, students work alongside practising solicitors to deliver real-world legal services to the community.

Students can also engage with specialist initiatives such as Amicus and Immigration and Asylum, applying legal knowledge to support vulnerable groups locally and nationally.
