Hello and welcome, I am Meredith, the Artisan Aromatherapy crafter of Wise Owl Apothica. I have a natural affinity for all things organic, clean and healing especially when it comes to our largest organ! A wise old soul once asked me, 'If you cannot eat it, why would you rub it on your skin?' Yet, millions of folks douse their Beings with harmful chemicals in the interest of cleanliness, beauty and home care first aid without giving attention to the ingredient list. I've been humorously nicknamed a fair skinned, freckle faced sensitive! I take this as a compliment because having such sensitive skin has inspired me to create products for myself and others to feed the skin, ease the mind and soothe the soul. Bug Spray and Tick Repellent

Ticks, mosquitos & black flies,  meet the power of essential oils!

Our bug spray is hands down our number 1 selling product! Because of it's all natural ingredients, we do reapply it a bit more frequently. We don't mind though, it smells incredibly good to humans! Not so for the pesky insects. Spray on the ground where you are sunning yourself to clear the air of bugs, use on your pant-legs to deter ticks and certainly spray all around yourself to send a message of 'Stay Away' to bugs buzzing your aura!

Blue
What Is Blue All About? It's a little bit of everything! Great for application after body work like massage, chiropractic care, energy balancing or Reiki. We love to simply sniff this gorgeous aroma and enjoy the energy upgrade it gifts us with. Blue is wonderful as well for soothing our chakra centers and is a great relaxation scent when we find ourselves in anxious moments. Blue may be further diluted in another carrier oil of your choice and smoothed on the skin after shaving or after being lightly sun kissed!

Thieves Mist

This fine mist spray is a fan favorite at Wise Owl. Clove, cinnamon, rosemary and lemon essential oils combine together in a 650 (or more) year old recipe used by grave robbers in the time of plague to ward off the spread of illness. These essential oils are antimicrobial, antiviral and antibacterial which makes the blend a powerful tool in our pocket during cold and flu season. Use around your home, in your car, as a hand sanitizer or even add some to your favorite multi-surface cleaner to chase away germs!

Edema Mist & Gel

At one time or another we may experience edema and often this is related to minor injury and/or sluggish lymphatic circulation. Our blend of Lemon and Lavender essential oils combine with Rendered Grain Alcohol Organic Ginger Tincture, Aloe Vera, Witch Hazel and Polysorbate 20 (emulsifier) bring warmth and anti-inflammatory properties to ease the discomfort and the rigidity associated with Edema. As you may notice, there is a price difference between the gel and the mist formulas, this is due simply to the price of ingredients.

Pain Away Gel

Our blend of Plai, Arnica, Sweet Birch & Cedar essential oils in aloe vera gel serves up a fine home remedy for minor muscle discomfort from the activities of every day life. Simply smooth on the skin and gently massage the affected areas in need of TLC and relax! This combination of oils MAY reduce the experience of inflammation, tenderness and minor injury from bumps and bruises.
